Girls Varsity Gold Golf Wins District Title, Qualifies for State

For the third consecutive year, the girls varsity gold golf team won the Division I District Championship at Beavercreek Golf Club to qualify for next weekend’s State Championship at The Ohio State University Golf Course in Columbus.  Junior Marissa Wenzler and freshman Meha Pandya led the Elks with a 79.  Junior Kayla Ramsey added an 82 and senior Megan Munn an 84 as the Elks finished with a team score of 324, 21 strokes ahead of runner-up Lakota East.

The state tournament is next Friday and Saturday with action getting underway both days at 9:00 AM.
