Elks News · Boys Bowling Places Second in District, Advances to State


On Wednesday afternoon, the boys bowling team finished as the District runner-up and advanced to the State Championship next Saturday in Columbus for the first time since 2010.

The team jumped out in front of everyone after games 1 and 2 and then sat in second place heading into the Baker games. They performed very well in the Baker games and finished just 11 pins behind District Champion Northmont.

They now travel to Wayne Webb’s Columbus Bowl for the State Championship next Saturday starting at 10:30 AM.
