The boys and girls bowling teams traveled to Wayne Webb’s Columbus Bowl on Saturday to compete in the Jaguar Baker Marathon Tournament hosted by Hilliard Bradley High School. This was an important tournament for the teams to bowl in as it was held at the site of the State Championships in early March.
The boys qualified fifth and defeated Colerain in the quarterfinals before falling to number one Brunswick in the semifinals to finish third.
The girls also had a strong showing and finished third as well.
The teams are back in action on Tuesday night as they start the second rotation of their GWOC Central schedule by hosting Springfield at Poelking Lanes South. Bowling gets underway at 4:00 PM.
