Coming off an upset win on Tuesday night at fourth seeded Columbus St. Charles, the varsity boys lacrosse team returned to Columbus on Friday night to take on third seeded New Albany in the second round of the 2018 state tournament. The hosts jumped in front early and had a four-goal lead, 6-2, at the half. Hoping for a second half rally which would extend their season to the third round, the Elks made their halftime adjustments. Unfortunately, so did New Albany who went on to a 13-5 win to end the Elks season at 6-14.
Thank you seniors for four great years and all you have given to the program. We wish you nothing but success in the future.
