The hockey team traveled to Hobart Arena over the holiday break and put together their best set of games thus far this year and ran off 4 straight wins to win the MV Freeze Tourney. The boys played as a team and showed great determination and poise as they worked together to win this tourney. On Friday the team beat the Dayton Stealth 7-1 and than came back on Saturday to beat Northern Kentucky 4-2 and Findlay 6-2, a team that they had lost to 13-0 earlier this year. This set up a showdown with Beavercreek on Sunday for the championship and also a chance to avenge an earlier 3-0 loss to the Beavers. The Elks were up to the challenge and beat the Beavers 7-2 to go 4-0 over the weekend. The Elks are now 10-10 on the season and ready to ride this momentum into 2019. Great job boys!
