Varsity Boys Hockey · Hockey Drops Game Two at MLK Tourney

The hockey team had a quick turnaround following their opening win in the MLK tourney last night when they faced off against the Canton/Akron Jets at 8:30 this morning.  Showing a little rust with the early wake-up call, the Elks fell behind early and trailed 3-1 after the first two periods.  The visiting Jets would go on to outscore the host Elks, 4-1, in the third period to skate away with a 7-2 victory.

Now 11-12 overall, the boys are right back at it tonight at 7:30 when they face the Northern Kentucky Norse in a game that will decide whether they play for a championship tomorrow or for third place.
