Varsity Boys Bowling, Varsity Girls Bowling · Boys Bowling Keeps GWOC Hopes Alive, Girls Continue to Roll

The GWOC East Champion girls varsity bowling team traveled to Springfield on Thursday to take on the Springfield Wildcats. The varsity girls won, 2292-2217. Payton Watson led the Lady Elks with a 428, Kaylie Sipes had a 426 and Erika Taylor a 403. The varsity girls are now 11-0 in league play.

The varsity boys kept pace in the GWOC East by beating Springfield, 2762-2174.  The win brings the Elks to 10-1 in league play and tied with Beavercreek.  The top bowlers for the boys were Wally Jaber with a 485 and Mason Eckley with a 466. A special shoutout to all of the varsity boys who all bowled games of 200+.

The teams travel to Beaver-Vu on Tuesday, February 12th where the boys will have a winner-take-all match vs. the Beavers and the girls will try to finish a perfect season!  Match begins at 4:15 pm.
