Varsity Boys Volleyball · Boys Volleyball Splits Road Games in Cincinnati

The boys volleyball program has had a busy week with three matches in three days this week, two of them on the road in the Cincinnati area.

After sweeping Miamisburg on Tuesday night at home, the Elks were faced with the tall task of traveling to perennial state power and current #2 ranked Archbishop Moeller for a tripleheader.  The Elks, like many others this year, were swept by the Crusaders in all three matches.  Varsity lost, 25-14, 25-11 and 25-6, JV A fell, 25-11 and 25-15 and JV B lost, 25-16 and 25-18.

Last night, the JV A and varsity teams traveled to Trenton to take on the Edgewood Cougars.  JV A won the opening match of the night, 25-11 and 25-15 and varsity won, 3-1.

Now 3-7 on the year, the boys are right back at it tomorrow when they, again, travel to Cincinnati to play in the Oak Hills Quad.  This is a varsity only event matching the Elks with the host Highlanders at 10:00 AM, Roncalli High School out of Indianapolis at 11:00 AM and Trinity High School from Louisville, Kentucky at 12:30 PM.
