Varsity Boys Lacrosse · Boys Lacrosse Wins Big on Staff Appreciation Night

The varsity boys lacrosse team returned to action after nine days off last night when they hosted the Bellbrook Golden Eagles on Staff Appreciation Night at Alumni Stadium.  The large crowd who turned out for the game was treated to another outstanding performance by the team who continued their winning ways.

The boys scored early and often and rolled to a 13-1 win over visiting Bellbrook.  The win ran their record to 11-1 on the year.  The JV team was also victorious in the opening game of the night with an 11-4 win over the visiting Golden Eagles.

As part of the halftime fun, CHS teacher Mrs. Boehm won the shooting competition with a stunning upset over defending champion Mr. Cowgill, the South Unit Principal here at CHS.

The boys are back in action tomorrow night when they travel to the famed Pit in Cincinnati to take on the Elder Panthers.  The JV game gets underway at 5:30 PM and will be followed by the varsity at approximately 7:15 PM.
