The varsity black and gold golf teams traveled to NCR Country Club this morning to compete in the Alter Invite. The Elks knew they would have to play well or they would run the risk of getting swallowed up the very challenging NCR course.
The varsity gold team, led by junior Meha Pandya’s 80, shot a 326 team score to finish third overall in the tournament. Joining Meha in the team scoring were Jenna Hayes (81), Amelia Burger (82) and Mo Rodgers (83).
The varsity black team, led by Kate Dickerson’s 85, shot a 382 to finish eighth in the tournament.
Black is back in action on Wednesday afternoon when they host Mason at Yankee Trace beginning at 4:00 PM. Gold is off until Saturday when they travel to Highland Meadows Country Club in Toledo to compete in the Arrow Invite. Tee time is set for 1:30 PM.
