Varsity Boys Soccer · Boys Soccer Starts Postseason With a Shutout

The varsity boys soccer team started OHSAA tournament play last night with a first round home game against Stebbins.  The Elks were looking to snap a season-ending three-game losing streak and did so in impressive fashion.  The first twenty minutes of the game were scoreless before the Elks struck for four goals in the final twenty minutes to take a 4-0 lead into the locker room.  They kept the pressure up in the second half and added six more goals to win, 10-0, and advance to the second round.

Now 9-7-1, the boys will play one final home game on Saturday night when they welcome the Tecumseh Arrows to Alumni Stadium for a 7:00 PM kickoff.
