Varsity Girls Competitive Cheer · Competition Cheer Off To a Fantastic Start

The competition cheer squad has competed in the first three competitions of their 2019-2020 season and so far the results have been nothing short of spectacular.  The girls are hoping to carry this momentum throughout the entire season and all the way through the State and National Championships in February and March.

Their first competition of the season was the UCA Regionals on Sunday, October 27 which were hosted right here at CHS.  The girls took first place in the large, non-building varsity division to punch their ticket to the National Championships at Walt Disney World.  They followed that up the next week by once again claiming first place in the Jump, Shout and Cheer competition held at Miamisburg High School.  They then took a week off before heading to Franklin High School this past Sunday to compete in the Rock the Gym competition.  The girls came up just short and settled for second place overall which is still a fantastic showing.

The girls are currently on a three-week break as they prepare for the all-important GWOC Championships at Trent Arena on Saturday, December 7 where they will hit the floor at 2:45 PM looking to win the GWOC title.
