Varsity Girls Competitive Cheer · Game Day Cheer Off To a Solid Start

In their second year of competition, the varsity Game Day squad has completed the first three events of their season and has two runner-ups and one championship to this point.

In their first competition at the UCA Regionals here at CHS on October 27, the girls finished second in the non-building, game day division.  They then traveled to Miamisburg High School the next week to compete in the Jump, Shout and Cheer competition and literally stole the show.  They took first place and were awarded overall Grand Champions as they took that competition by storm.  Following a week off, they then traveled to Franklin High School this past Sunday to compete in the Rock the Gym competition where they again finished as runners-up.

They are presently in the midst of a three-week break from competition as they are gearing up for the GWOC Championships at Kettering Fairmont’s Trent Arena on Saturday, December 7.
