Varsity Boys Bowling, Varsity Girls Bowling · Bowling Suffers a Rough Couple of Days on the Road


The Centerville bowling teams hit the road on Monday and Tuesday this week as they visited Fairmont and Wayne.  It was a rough couple of days as the Elks only won three of the eight matches.

On Monday, the varsity girls team was the only team to come out on top as they defeated the Firebirds, 1,812-1,749.  The varsity boys lost a tough match, 2,547-2,423.  The JV girls bowled well, but fell, 1625-1,409 while the JV boys were also defeated, 2,271-2,003.

On Tuesday, the teams traveled to Huber Heights to take on the Wayne Warriors.  Both varsity teams were defeated by Wayne with the boys falling, 2,387-2,229 and the girls going down, 2,276-1,872.  Both JV teams came out on top with the boys winning, 1,753-1,568 and the girls winning, 1,326-1,286.

The varsity teams wrap up GWOC play on Monday afternoon when they welcome Beavercreek to Poelking South beginning at 4:00 PM.
