Building effective school-community partnerships is an integral part of having a strong foundation within your athletic department. We are very fortunate to have amazing partnerships with some of the best stakeholders in our community who donate food to help feed our event staff and that of our visiting schools during football and basketball season.
First off, we would like to extend a special thank you to our friends at City Barbecue. For the past several years, they have donated meals to feed our entire coaching staff prior to our annual fall, winter and spring coaches meetings mandated by the OHSAA. They have also worked with us to offer a discounted meal for our annual Hall of Fame induction ceremonies and we cannot even begin to than them enough.
During football season, we were fortunate to have food for our worker’s every Friday night from King’s Pizza, Cork ‘n Bottle, Raising Cane’s, Dibella’s Subs, Five Guys and Fricker’s. Buffalo Wild Wings supplied lunch every home game Friday as well.
During boys and girls basketball season, Archer’s, Raising Cane’s and Stacked Pickle provided food for our hospitality room for all boys and select girls home games.
Our partnership with these community stakeholders is never taken for granted and very much appreciated by everyone who works one of our home athletic events. We strongly encourage you to support them throughout the year and cannot ever begin to thank them enough for all they do for Centerville Athletics.
