Elks News · Boys Soccer Drops Season Finale

Centerville Boys Varsity Soccer welcomed the Beavercreek Beavers to Alumni Stadium Thursday night in a non-league tune up for tourney play. The Elks suffered their first loss of the season, losing to the Beavers 2-1. The lone Centerville goal would come off a free kick by Rohan Dhingra in the second half. The loss put the Elks at 13-1-2 on the season as they shared the GWOC title with Beavercreek.

JVA Boys Soccer finish out the season undefeated 14-0-1 Thursday night as they drained the creek for a second time this season.  The Elks had several opportunities throughout the game and with about 10 minutes left in the first half Spencer Miller found Landon Miller for the game’s only goal.  Luke Voss and Nate Smith combined for another Elk shutout along with a strong performance by the defense.

Tournament play start next week as the #1 seed Elks will face the winner of Fairmont/Fairborn.  Game time is schedule for 7:00 pm at Alumni Stadium Thursday 10/22/20.  GO ELKS!!!
