The varsity boys bowling team started off the weekend by setting two school records as they hosted Wayne on Friday night at Poelking South. The varsity beat Wayne 2871-2284. Team honors goes to Jr. Anthony Conty who rolled games of 264 & 266. Ian Dobran 286 & 243. The team shot single high game school record of 1271 and a 2 game & 2 baker combined score of 2871 beating the school record by 50 pins. JV Boys Bowling beat Wayne tonight with a win 2219-1896. Jake Hamrick with team honors with 470 series.

Girls varsity bowling fell to Wayne 2040 -1930. Kaylie Sipes led the girls with a 434 series. JV girls bowling lost to Wayne 1310-1664. They were led by Megan Patel with a 2 game series of 309 followed by Ava Routzahn with a 275.

Centerville Varsity Boys qualified second at the Lancer Baker Bash on Saturday. In the round of 16 they defeated Finneytown 2-0. In round of 8 they lost 2-0 to tournament host LaSalle. Centerville JV Boys bowling qualified 1st at the Lancer Baker Bash. JV team then proceeded to win all 3 matches to win their 1st Tournament against the host LaSalle. Game 2 of the Championship came down to the final ball to win the match. Cole Gregory threw the clutch shot for the JV win.

Varsity Girls Bowling finished 3rd Saturday at the Viking Classic. Abigail Kayata (589) and Kaylie Sipes (569) earned All Tournament Team honors. JV girls bowled good Saturday in a Varsity tournament. They finished 9th in a 10 team tournament. Team was lead by Bhakti Patel with a 431 for 3 games.

On Sunday Varsity Girls Bowling qualified 4th of 15 teams at the Lancer Baker Bash, but fell 2-1 in the first round of match play. The girls are back in action Monday against Miamisburg.
