The varsity boys basketball team traveled to Butler High School on Saturday night to take on Fairborn in the 1st round of the OHSAA Tourney. The boys got off to a fast start and led 25-6 at the end of 1st quarter. The boys then played a pretty sloppy 2nd quarter to lead 33-16 at the half. The team came out and took care of business in the 2nd half and led 59-33 at the end of the 3rd quarter and went on to win 80-49. The Elks were led by Tom House with 23 points, Rich Rolf with 16 points and Tre Johnson with 14 points.

The win is the 9th in a row for the Elks and brings them to 19-3 overall on the season. The Elks will now play Wednesday February 24th at 5:30 pm at Butler vs. Belmont.
