Elks News · Spring Sports Are Off And Rolling!

To say we are excited that our 2021 Spring Sports teams are now in action is an understatement. Our Spring teams are in full swing and Boys Tennis is the only team that will officially start this week, everyone else has started their season. Here are highlights from each of their starts:

Girls Lacrosse: The varsity team started the season with 2 losses to very strong Springboro and Kings but the girls cam back to give Coach DeSanctis her 1st ever win as a head coach on Thursday night with a 6-5 overtime win over Little Miami. Girls are currently 1-2 overall.

Boys Lacrosse:  The varsity boys have played a brutal schedule with losses to New Albany, Springboro and Moeller to start the year. The boys did manage an easy win vs. Creek on Senior Night on Monday March 22nd. The boys are currently 1-3 overall.

Boys Volleyball: The varsity boys opened up their season at Lakota East this week and swept the Thunderhawks 3-0.

Baseball: The varsity team opened up on Saturday at WSU against Elder and lost a tough 3-1 game to the Panthers.

Softball: The varsity opened up their newly renovated stadium on Saturday and beat Kings 10-6 and then lost their second game to Miamisburg 7-5.

Boys/Girls Track: The varsity teams competed at Wayne on Saturday in a huge invite, the boys finished 5th and the girls finished 4th.
