The Spring of 2020 caught all of us off guard and we all had to do the best to make the most out of a very hard situation. We were left to honor our graduating seniors and juniors at the time with virtual celebrations. We did the best we could and made the most of a difficult situation and our class of 2020 is to be commended on how they handled that very disappointing ending to their high school careers. You can revisit how we celebrated our seniors virtually on at this YouTube Channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC-uj5PGGDKzwe45ac7BLtvQ/videos
We find ourselves in a much better spot then we were a year ago and we are going to celebrate our current seniors and juniors in-person in our main gymnasium.
On Monday May 17th beginning at 6:00 pm in the Main Gymnasium we are inviting all senior athletes that are moving on to play college sports at any level to come and be celebrated. We are creating an individual slide for each of our athletes and we will announce each of you and allow you the opportunity to have your ceremonial signing in front of your family, fellow classmates and any teammates that you invite. We want this to be a very celebratory event.
On Monday May 17th beginning at 7:30 PM we will celebrate all of our Junior Scholar Athletes and their family is invited to the celebration. Each junior will receive their 1st year medal for being a Scholar Athlete. You will receive a letter soon inviting you to this event if you qualified for Scholar Athlete.
The Seniors are asked to report to the gym at 8:30 PM for their Scholar Athlete Ceremony. We will have all the junior winners and their families clear the gymnasium and the seniors will have the gym to celebrate this incredible year and their Scholar Athlete accomplishment. We will also award our special awards to our seniors during this ceremony as well. Each senior that needs to be at this award ceremony will also receive a letter inviting you to the event soon. We anticipate having our seniors out of here by 9:30 pm. I know it is kind of late but we want the opportunity to celebrate in person!
