Girls Lacrosse Wins Second Straight

Volleyball Cruises Past Xenia

The varsity and JV A boys volleyball teams traveled to Xenia High School last night to take on the Buccaneers.  In the varsity match, the boys started fast and never looked back as they cruised to a 3-0 win.  In the first set, the Elks had little resistance from the host Buccaneers and cruised, 25-5. 

Softball Falls at Clinton Massie

The varsity and JV softball teams traveled together to Clarksville last night to take on the Clinton Massie Falcons.  The Falcons used big bats and timely defensive plays to sweep both games from the Elks.  The varsity team beat the Elks, 14-4, while the JV team also won, 10-7. The teams are back in action

Tennis Blanks Panthers

The boys varsity gold tennis team traveled to Springboro High School last night to take on the Panthers in a GWOC crossover contest.  This was the team’s second trip to Springboro in less than a week and the second time they handed the host Panthers a 5-0 defeat.  The JV gold team hosted the Panthers

Senior soccer player Christian Kohen signed his Letter of Intent this afternoon after school to continue his academic and athletic career next year at Huntington University.  The ceremony was held in front of friends, family, teammates and coaches n front of the Athletic Hall of Fame. Ormsby Headed to Springfield

Senior soccer and lacrosse player Alli Ormsby signed her Letter of Commitment after school today to continue her academic and athletic career next year at Wittenberg University in Springfield, Ohio.  Alli will play field hockey for the Tigers.  She signed her letter in front of her friends, family and soccer and lacrosse teammates and coaches.

Tennis Drops a Pair of Matches

The varsity black and gold tennis teams had home matches last night against Wilmington and St. Xavier.  Unfortunately for the Elks, the home court advantage was not a big help as the visitors won both matches.  Gold fell to visiting St. Xavier, 5-0, while Black fell to Wilmington, 4-1. Varsity gold travels to Springboro tonight
