The Lady Elks varsity basketball team honored its three seniors, Shannon Coffee, Madison Elson and Jenna Sullivan, prior to tip-off and then came out blazing and ran away from Northmont, 73-38 to clinch the outright GWOC Central Division championship on Senior Night. The varsity boys’ basketball team made the short trip up Far Hills Avenue to Trent Arena on Tuesday night to take on their rivals, the Fairmont Firebirds. Fairmont and Centerville came into the game tied for second in the GWOC Central at 5-2. The Firebirds were 16-2 on the year while the Elks were 15-3.
