Elks, Butler Dogfight Interrupted by Mother Nature

The varsity baseball game between Centerville and Vandalia Butler was a back and forth battle ultimately won by Mother Nature.  Butler jumped out to a quick 1-0 lead after 1/2 inning of play only to see the Elks bounce back with a run in their half of the first to knot the game at 1.

Softball Downs Carroll to Improve to 2-0

Varsity Baseball Drops Opener to Springboro

The varsity baseball team lost their opener at Springboro 12-2 in six innings on Monday.  The JV team lost at home 11-5 and the 9th grade team won at home 9-3.  The JV and 9th teams play at Miamisburg at 5:00 pm on Tuesday.  The Varsity team will play at home at 5:00 pm vs.

Varsity Softball Starts Season with Win Over CJ

The varsity softball team beat CJ on the road on Monday 13-2.  The Lady Elks hit the ball very well to open the season with a victory.  The varsity plays Carroll at home at 5:00 pm on Tuesday and the JV team travels to Carroll for a 5:00 pm game on Tuesday.

CHS Wrestling Dominates All-Area Team

The All-Area Division I wrestling team was dominated by Centerville wrestlers and Coach Alan Bair was chosen as Coach of the Year for his role in this domination. Five wrestlers made 1st team; Troy Barklay(40-10, 113 lbs.), Alexander Bair(48-8, 160 lbs.), John Andrews(40-9, 170 lbs.), Adam Tonkin(44-6, 195 lbs.), and Conan Jennings(38-6, 285 lbs.). One

Boys Lacrosse loses to Loveland

The varsity boys lacrosse team lost at Loveland on Friday 14-1 and the JV team lost 10-4. Both teams are now 1-1 on the season. The teams are back in action at Sycamore HS on Saturday April 5th at 1:00 and 3:00 pm.

Boys Varsity Volleyball Hits a Bump

After starting the season at 3-0 with wins over Bishop Watterson, Westerville North, and Olentangy the varsity boys volleyball team has dropped two straight matches to Elder 0-3 and also to Moeller 0-3.  Elder and Moeller are easily top 5 in the State and now the boys can go to work and close that gap. 

Girls LAX Rebounds Against Lakota East

The varsity girls lacrosse team beat Lakota East on the road on Thursday 5-2.  The JV team also won 8-4.  The sweep is just what the girls needed to get back on track.  The Lady Elks are back in action on Saturday April 12th when the Varsity plays in the Hannigan Tourney at Thomas Worthington
