Girls Bowling Wins Season Kickoff Tournament

The varsity girls bowling team emerged from a field of 30 to win the 2015 Ohio High School Invitational State Kick-Off Tournament.  They defeated rival Fairmont in the finals.  Megan Cook rolled a 597 series and Brogan Zengel a 576 to lead the Elks.  The boys also competed this weekend and finished 23rd out of

Wrestling Wins Alumni Tournament

The varsity wrestling team hosted the 2nd Annual Centerville Alumni Wrestling Tournament on Saturday and won the championship of the 10-team event. Placing first in their respective weight classes for the Elks were Evan Pulaski, Hunter Smith, David Uzhca and Michael Markham.  Muayad Mustafa places second.

Girls Basketball Rolls Past Butler to Remain Unbeaten

The varsity girls basketball team improved to 3-0 on the season with an impressive, 54-29, home win over Vandalia Butler.  The Elks jumped out to a 13-6 lead after one quarter and expanded that to 25-14 at the half.  After three quarters, the lead had ballooned to 42-23 as the Elks cruised to the victory.

Divers Perform Well Against Bellbrook

The 2015 Centerville Diving teams started their season off Thursday night by hosting Bellbrook at the Washiongton Township Recreation Center.  The boys took four of the top five places while the girls took three of the top five. The varsity girls basketball team beat Ponitz at home on Tuesday 67-13. The lady Elks were led in scoring by senior Weston Minnich with 11 points and sophomore Meghan Mattingly with 10 points. The varsity is now 2-0 on the season. The JV team beat Ponitz 33-16. The girls are back in action at home
