Varsity Tennis Teams Shine at Coach’s Cup

Girls Lacrosse Conquers Kings

The varsity and JV girls lacrosse teams traveled to Kings High School this afternoon to do battle with the Knights.  Both teams were able to bring home victories.  The varsity team was able to snap their two-game losing streak with an 11-7 win while the JV team was also victorious by the score of 6-4.

Ryan Fox Heading to Lewis University, IL

Varsity Girls Track Claims 3rd Straight Dayton/Edwin C. Moses Relay Title

The varsity girls dominated the Dayton/Edwin C. Moses relays on Friday night down at Welcome Stadium setting meet records in pole vault and discuss.  The team also set a meet record by scoring 91 points and were able to do this by showing their depth as many of the top distance runners were at Springboro

Boys Track Claims 6th Straight Dayton/Edwin C. Moses Relay Title

The varsity boys track team closed out a fantastic night by finishing far ahead of Wayne in the 400M Relay to hold of the Warriors for their 6th straight title at this event 76-69.  The Elks are back in action at the Wayne Invite on May 1st and May 2nd.

Boys Lacrosse Mauls Milford

The boys lacrosse team welcomed Milford to the Centerville Soccer Stadium on Friday night and handed them a 13-2 setback.  The Elks took control of the game early and never let up on their visitors from Cincinnati. Baseball Sweeps Fairborn

The varsity baseball team defeated Fairborn at home on Friday 6-2.  The JV team beat Fairborn on the road 10-0 and the Freshmen beat Fairborn on the road 17-4.  The varsity plays at Lakota East on Saturday April 26th in a DH against Anderson at 1:30 and Lakota East at 4:00.  Good Luck Elks!

CHS Athletics Moving Forward With Weight Room Fundraising Efforts

 Weight Room Sponsorship Opportunities                 The desire to improve has led Athletic Director Rob Dement to evaluate where CHS Athletics currently stands and to improve on that high level of success.  During the last two and one-half years, Mr. Dement has met with staff, coaches, community members, and alumni to prioritize areas that need improvement. 

Girls Lacrosse Falls at Loveland

The varsity girls lacrosse team traveled to Loveland on Thursday night and were blitzed in the first half, 12-1.  They recovered after that and played a much more competitive second half, but still fell to the Tigers, 16-4.  With the loss, the team is now 3-5-1 on the year.
