Girls Varsity Basketball Earns #1 Seed

Matthew Diamond Rolling To University of Pikeville

Wrestling Makes it Three in a Row!

The varsity wrestling team put its stamp on the GWOC wrestling title for a third consecutive year culminating an impressive run that has been led in large part by the senior class that will be exiting after this season.  The Elks went 5-0 in title matches allowing them to overtake Springboro for the title.  Winning

Girls Varsity Basketball Rolls

The varsity girls team won at Northmont on Saturday 78-32 to raise their record to 16-3 overall and 7-1 in the GWOC Central Division.  The JV team won 29-26 and the Freshmen loss 20-25.  The Lady Elks are back in action at home on Wednesday Feb. 5th against Springfield with the JV playing at 5:00

The boys varsity basketball team lost at Butler in overtime on Saturday 66-64.  The Elks could deny the upstart upset minded Butler Aviators who made every play they needed to make down the stretch and hit a shot at the buzzer to claim their best win of the season.  The Elks were led in scoring

The varsity gymnastics team finished third in the very competitive Flip Fest held at Forest Hills on Saturday but was first among our District Schools that competed.  The coaches were very pleased with the performance of the team and felt it was their best overall effort of the year.  The team is back in action
