        The boys varsity gold golf team made the long trip up Interstate 75 north on Saturday afternoon to compete in the Findlay Invite at Findlay Country Club. Led by AJ Cherubini’s 2nd place score of 71, the boys shot a team score of 297 to finish 2nd in the 12-team invitational.

The varsity football team welcomed the unbeaten Springfield Wildcats to Centerville Stadium on Friday night looking for their first win of the year.  Things started well for the Elks, but quickly went downhill. Boys Soccer Survives Fairmont with 1-0 Victory

According to Greek mythology, the Firebird (or phoenix), is a long-lived bird that cyclically regenerates or is otherwise born again.  Associated with the Sun, the Firebird obtains new life by arising from the ashes of its predecessor.
