Girls XC Cap of Season with 4th Place Finish at State

This weekend, the Girls Cross Country team travelled to Sidney High School to complete in the GWOC meet.  Both the Varsity and Reserve teams brought home the Division and Overall Championships, with plenty of other hardware as well. This weekend the Girls Cross Country team hosted their annual Stampede Invitational at Watts Middle School.  Significant rain Friday night turned the normally flat, fast course into a challenging mess, complete with mud pits and standing water. The Girls Cross Country team kicked off the 2013 season the same way they started 2012 – by winning the Centerville Saturday Night Lights event at Centerville HS.  The Varsity Girls finished 1st out of 21 teams Saturday, outpacing 2nd place Franklin Central of Indianapolis.  This is the 3rd straight year the girls have captured
