Varsity Boys Basketball Drops Close One to Thurgood Marshall

The Elks came up short in a battle of two of the top teams in the area.  Thurgood stole a pass and hit a layup at the buzzer to win 49-47 in a game that was nip and tuck all the way through.  Both team gave tremendous effort and all the fans got their moneys

Boys Varsity Basketball Raises to 4-0

Boys Varsity Basketball Handles Piqua

The varsity boys basketball squad beat Piqua at home on Saturday 90-33.  Junior Mitch Balser led all scorers with 22 points, followed by fellow junior Kyle Dodson with 21 points, and senior Alex Rado chipped in 15 points.  The varsity is now 3-0 overall.  The JV team beat Piqua 79-16, and the 9th black squad
